As Karl said, best time at the Mile...by a mile! The old Turbo 12 had some early reluctance to make much speed, apparently due to a slightly pinched fuel line. After a stern talking to, it responded on Saturday with some better numbers, then the battery decide to take a short nap right as the sun was setting. Managed to get it together for Sunday, ran a 199+.
Lo and behold, Doug Meyer said that he would like to make a pass on the bike. I was pleasantly stunned at the offer, and soon he was in line. What resulted was the fastest pass ever for the bike, and Doug's fastest pass of the weekend! 212.7! Doug was thrilled, and graciously thanked me for the opportunity, I was thrilled and thanked him for everything. Doug freely shares his wealth of knowledge with all who ask, and it was an honor to spend 3 great days with him and such an awesome group of guys and gals.
Is it March yet?

hey Mike, yes indeed, let's get after it in Miami in Jan!! Do they have a date yet?
You and Sal set the bar for ZX12 performance in the Mile, its a blast to share the track with you.

Thanks Gary!!! I can not wait for March!!! it will be here before we know it!!! I am going to tear down the head and send it to Jim to give it a once over... then I am going to put it all together... and ready to run 205!!!

Brenda, you are tiny, there is always room for you, maybe we can get up a lil Texas crew for Miami.

Mike, Jan will be here instantly, March not much longer, get that head off & to Jim asap!!!!
Now I'm going out to the garage to install a set of Jim/Marren's Bosch 440 injectors for dyno test on Sat. I wanna compare 'em with the RC 370's I have been running. Then i'll test OEM injectors at 70psi (lo duty cycle), then OEM's at 41psi (high duty cycle). busy-busy-busy

Well I didn't get 200 , but my bike ran better then in march . My best speed was 199.780 .
I am installing a DL-32 Data Logger to help me fine tune . I ran the track 23 times . I love to hot lap .
