PC3r software recognizing PC3r hardware: problem solved
Seems like since forever, i have had a problem with the PC3r sw "seeing" the PC3r.
I would try each and every port, auto, reboot, try this, try that, piss, moan, swear and sooner or later the sw would magically work. frustrating.
Apparently i stumbled onto a way to make it work predictably.
key on, cable hooked up to laptop, sw running
select port, hit auto = no recognition
then simply change the cable to a different port on the computer,
select port, hit auto = recognition
this has worked 4-5 times over the last couple months
