warped clutch plates
so how much warp is acceptable? does everyone go by the factory service limit or?... also whats your method of checking?
i use a piece of glass and feeler gauges, but im never sure im getting accurate results on plates that may be fine. i put a few on my el cheapo lapping block tonight(worked fine on my cylinder block and head for the motor im running now) and got some interesting results. i used 600 grit wet dry paper and some oil.
first one looks fine, no high spots

the rest of the pics show that the plates are warped, and have the center on the motor side high. its actually the opposite of what i was expecting with the damaged hub

wondering how bad they can get before they are ok to run.. i have a new set ordered with the hub, but its nice to know if my spares are spares or paper weights
