i agree 100% but i try to call them out nicer i guess by inviting them to the track to have some fun with a lot of others with the same sort of bikes. when they chicken out 10 times or flat out say i do not need to go to maplegrove to beat you i do it here then everyone surrounding them knows he is a poser or too scared to risk loosing infront of 1500 people at the track and not your shit talking friends only. (sounds like i met someone like this doesn,t it?? batman you know shame you never went to the track and sole the bike, it could of been close with you a tad over 210 on a lite 07 gsxr1000 and my 60lb lighter on a heavier bike. ohwell...
shane it will be nice tomorrow night and i think my hands can handle draging my bike at cecil. if you can go i will load up tonight. if not cool i will sit this out probally. pulling friday night has me wanting to go tomorrow night to play on the bike. the track prep last wed was fresh vht and it hooked.

Like I found him claiming to have run in the 1/4:
"My best is a 9.27@151mph"
Now, I am pretty sure he was claiming this stock wheelbase, stock motor, on his 12R. And you know as well as I do that is bullshit. And he is no jockey-sized guy, either...But it sure makes your 9.5 look like pure suck, huh?? Or my lousy 9.0's on my 14 with all the mods.
He also claims you can take 20 minutes and strip the 12R and drop 1 second off of your ET. Can you top the level of bullshit in that statement?

I have to work until 6:30 pm tomorrow night. How about we pencil it in for next Weds? If I can't run all out, I can at least roll off at the 1/8th, practice my launch, and check my gearing and chassis setup.

Is the track well-lit? I don't have a headlight on the bike..

2000rocket: If he (or anyone) posted up a gps pic, I'd be inclined to believe it unless I found GOOD reason to think otherwise...
I wasn't shocked to see you hit 190mph at maxton, nor would I be shocked to see your duster go 195mph. But when I see a home built contraption with practically no bodywork, just a windshield and monster rear wing... And a claim of 238mph by way of self timing via handheld stopwatch... I require a little more substance than the word of a compulsive liar who has been outted multiple times.
You are a racer, you compete regularly... You have credibility amongst your fellow racers. I would take your word and gps reading as the truth. Same goes for Shane, Racheal, Ali, etc...
As Shane pointed out, when people lie about their performance.. It makes the legit guys seem less impressive by comparison. Definately not cool.. Personally its my biggest pet peeve in this sport. Its like someone casting a shadow on your hard earned achievements.

shane the track is not mir or maple grove. but that being said there are bikes there with no headlight and they do fine. it is lit ok (it is lit up) but you will have to be the judge and check it out. do you have a tail light that works? usually tracks atleast require that to see you make the left (or right i guess some places) off the track. we may get lucky enough to run together the first time you run. then just hit the hooks harder than normal to let me go past in the shutdown and follow me back to get where things are if you like.
well said phantom. i my think the duster would go 160 to 175mph. they are not as aro as that commander that set all them records. but i know i have more motor so who knows.

I have a tailight, and I could mount a headlight in about 20 minutes if I had to. I checked the schedule and it looks like no T&T next Weds..

there is a place there that sells race gas (different kinds). i was on the site to try to find the fuel guys number. you are going to have to call the track when they are open and ask. maybe it will save you the trip.
