2000 zx-12r fuel system
Hey all... well I've been doing some re-search about fuel systems on here... I have a 2000 zx12r with a 1375 kit and i might add a small shot of nitrous to her... shes built top to bottom inside but I'd like to upgrade/update the fuel system.... From what I've read on here you can replace the fuel pumps and crimp the fpr to bump the psi up which ive done many times but the 2000 zx12r has a fpr out side the tank... so I'm wondering should I go the extra way and get an aftermarket fpr or just srush the one on the rail???
my thoughts for the fuel system were to upgrade to 08 zx14 injectors which are 440cc's instead of 330's and go with a walbro pump probably the 242 I Thikn its called, the 150lph pump...
with the 440's in there I think they are goo dof almost 270hp or so at 80% duty cycle or so so it should be more then enough for motor alone... I'm thinking of doing a spray bar just dont know how big of a shot but lets just say I'd shoot for 300hp max... if i bumped the fuel pressue to 55psi or so some of the calculations ive gotten online have said 440's are perfect.
anyways.... if anyone can help a guy out on some 2000 zx12r aftermarket fuel pump issues let me know!!!!!

I'm running a walbro pump and bosh 430cc/min injectors at stock 3 bar rail pressure of 42.5 psi.
The combo works well.
The fuel pump is about $80 and the 430cc Bosh injectors are $300.
