going to cecil dragway with 17/50 gearing. lets hope it is enough to get most of 5th in the end.

we went tonight. ofcouarse todd had the 16/46 and just tried to get the front to stay down.ran a 9.82 i think barefoot once.he did have fun axcept for the longish drive i always have fun. it is 70 mi from my house.
i ran a best od 9.51 with a 1.65 60ft 4.11 330. i say the gearing helped. was good air i say. if anyone wants to plan anything i can go next wed night also. i stopped early and got 7 runs in. todd got 8 and we both could of got 2 to 3 more if we closed the track down.
some guy flipped his busa so bad it had a chance to land on the front tire almost. it got good air. all with in 30ft of the start.it was crazey to watch. rider walked away. bike landed on its upper and shield. had a bit of parts to carry back.

Nice...sorry for the Busa guy. Don't think I can make it to Cecil in time on Friday...bummer. I get out of work at 6pm....from work its 3 hours according to Mapquest....DOH!

The first time I ever went to an All Bike meet was at Cecil COunty Drag way in the early 70's. I had to borrow a freinds ford van that had no brakes (Metal to Metal) and some other problems with the starter so i always had to park on a hill and never turn it off until I wa son a hill! I was a lot younger then I was still in my 20's!! (29 to be exact!)

that was cool. todd needs to position the camara better so you all can see me out in front of him with a 004 reaction time.

Look at the tach.........
You let out the lever too quick, or the clutch tune up is off, (if using a lock up type).
That huge bog kills the run............, there are several tenths left just right there...........

he was running 16.46 gearing stock length. with out that bog it would been over.
