AH HA! This is the trail to the BSFC I was hoping we could create........

Doug,
Since I log duty cycle and I know the capacity of my injectors, I think we can easily get BSFC if we can convert FactoryPro hp to whatever type of HP the BSFC formula uses.

Damn, I didn't log the injector voltage for duty cycle, just used it for RPM. I should have logged both, and the map sensor to compare the rate of rise to the airbox sensor.

so jim your 12 dynoed what mine did stock after 4500mi of mostly easy riding. i think it was a 250 though. i guess i may have to get larger injectors or more fuel pressure.

The Bosch injectors aren't to bad, they are custom machined by Marren for the zx12r and are $75 each.
There are drawbacks to raising rail pressure. Talk to Tim Marren about it. He can explain better than I can.

Jim,
I just ordered a new injector harness for the Marren modified Bosch injectors you are helping me with. Lemme know when to send $$$.

I am looking fwd to testing those injectors against my RC370's after the Texas Mile.

I will also test stock injectors @ 70psi.
I know that conventional wisdom says hi pressure is counter productive, but Pierre @ BEAR Racing says he tested several injector combos and got best hp outa stock @70#, go figure.

I tried some big injectors in mine on the first build of the APE 1375cc but it did not want to run right, turned out the second hand injectors were faulty but we went back to original A model injectors fuelled via pc111r and a B model fuel pump thats supposed to be stronger.
Now I am at the point were I am considering buying a fully worked head and looking into bigger injectors again,I am interested in the heads that TFA ran obviously after seeing the figures but I need to know if I should send a head over to you or just get a finished version sent over here which would probably be cheaper overall.
My bike with a Jockey size rider could push 220mph in the right conditions with a bit more work I am sure.
Sorry to veer of thread but the PM system is still down.

Ken, give us a shout (CompetitionCNC.com) and we can hook you up with a stage 2 cnc ported head for LSR and a set of these 430cc Bosch injectors.

I sent a set to Wolf Racing in Australia along with our stage 2 cnc ported head and they love them. They just set the national class 1/4 mile record with that head and injector combo.
