Fuels with nitrous.. VP C16 or Nutec Spec5?
What fuel(s) are you using with nitrous?
Maxton sells VP C16 on site. If I spray I suppose it doesn't matter since it would be in a /F(uel) class which doesn't require the use of VP products anyway...
Would I be better off using Nutec Spec-5 or VP C16 on N20?
I currently have -2 degrees timing pulled #34 jet dry (40hp) should I leave it alone or reset it to zero using either of these fuels?
Nutec Spec5 is twice as ex$pen$ive ($15/gal) vs. VP-C16 ($7.50/gal). I realize the Nutec is oxygenated and the C16 is not but my goal isn't so much additional power as it is protection while spraying.. we're talking about spraying a full one-mile here not just the last 1000 feet of a 1/4mi run. I just want to be as safe as possible.

not a expert BUT!! i don;t think you would use a oxygenated fuel with spray.
Aren't both doing basicly the same thing adding oxygen to the chamber to increase explosion. oxygen=heat.

Bergie, I think you would probably want the c16 for the entire run. I use it in my turbobike under alot of boost. Higher compression = c16

No way would I run Nutec on spray.
Go with the C16 to prevent detonation.

nutec plus nitrous = boom.
The c-16 will make the bike run rich with the .034 jet you are fine with pump fuel you should change your plugs the platinum plugs are not really compatible with nitrous. ngk makes a race plug replacement ngk-R016-10 stock #3280 it is one heat range colder make a pass on the dyno and check your plug, a/f ratio is just a guide you must read the plug to get an accurate check on what is happening in the cyclinders. timing and fuel adjustments are not the same try both ways you will see. I would suggest c-16 for top speed runs and stay out of rev limiter at top rpm the rev limiter cuts fuel and timing and will be disasterous for your motor, is that a word anyway hope that helps.
