Maybe some more TFA members will be able to make a road trip this next year to visit the Salt! Any advice would be great, LSL.

Larry,
I hope someone is gonna take Ryan under their wing at Speed week.

He is very delicate, catches cold easily, and gets cranky when supper is late or he stays up past his bedtime.

The rest of TFA is itching to get a lil salt, but we sent Ryan because we are even more shy and delicate than he is

Just talked to Ryan: he is thru tech, has a nice 2008 button on his leathers (they ran out of 2009's )
He'll post some pix when he gets back to the hotel (between stints of gambling)

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. We just checked into our hotel.

For all the Maxton peeps I found Deb and Todd. Also found Keith T.

Got through tech inspection without any issues. Tomorrow I have to go to the rookie drivers meeting then start making my license runs. I pitted next to some salt veterans. They have helped me a lot. I'll post up tomorrow how it goes with license runs, etc.

The salt is an amazing place! It is HUGE! Huge probably doesn't even do it justice.

Gonna take a shower and go downstairs to the casino.

Some pics later. I haven't got them off my camera yet and I think the cord for it is in my truck.

Good deal. I've heard it can take a while to get your license runs in at Speed Week. Maybe with the 3 courses it won't be too bad.

Check with the fuel truck about the air - I understand he knows better than anybody how much to take out relative to sea level.

Take lots of pics, and good luck.

Back at the hotel now. Little update. I'm licensed up to a "B". Tomorrow I get to finally cut the bike loose. Should be a good day. Gonna go eat and then hit the casino for a while.

Osti getting ready to burn a hole in the bottom of his fairings from setting his ride height too tight.
Ryan: we know you young guys think "tighter is righter", but dragging your machine on the ground gonna slow you down.

BTW: congrats on the A License!!!!!

Hey guys. I'm home. Had a great time at Bonneville. I'll get some pics up in the next day or so. I have to get them off my camera and my phone. I'll write up a little post on my trip too. It's been a long week. I'm tired. Plus I am going to have to spend the next couple days pulling my bike all the way down to the frame to clean it. The salt gets everywhere. I can already see rust forming in some spots.
