swingarm bottle bracket

Whats involved with installing a bottle bracket to a zx12r swingarm? Is it just a matter of drill and tapping for the mounting bolts?

I was thinking about a 2 or 2 1/2lb.I just have bolt ons, so maybe it would be more convenient if I did the passenger foot peg route.I'm looking at my options.

Just buy a used arm, send it to Doug Ray, and have it built the way you want........,

thats the best option.
