Should work fine on a SWB, if tuned right. We have a non-multi on Racheal's Busa, and that bike went low 1.5's, SWB 8.80's @ 163 mph.

Yeah, if they are tuned right, any will work, even at stock wb, just gotta know some cool tricks on the single stages to really make them get down if you throw the lever.....
Wow, they let sliders in a street et class? Good luck with it.

Les, I've had a blast with my slider, same MTC. 1.55 60' 9.55, I know there is more there just got to figure it out. Dont get to go to the track as often as I would like. Go ahead and try it like it is, maybe 3/4 throttle, before you go WOT, and go from there

yeah, gonna be two days of test and tune before the race. since i run a full tree im gonna use the two step to dial in my reaction times leaving on the third yellow. hopefully i can get a decent tune in before the race on august 7th. the downside is that the class i run doesn't allow a sub 10.0 pass so im gonna have to play with my shift points to run that slow while still keeping enought rpms for it to stay locked. but the midnight drags afterwards should be fun since its heads up and i can wrap it out. WOT launch and autoshift @ 12,000rpm should turn out some decent times. i got a couple 14's i have been putting the hurt on and im just gonna make it worse

Dane , where do you run......, what do you weigh
I had a very slow map in my bike last weekend, and ran a 9.50 with a 1.53 running in the Super Street ( Super Baxter) class at PMRA..., I touch of a button on the lap top will pick it up a ton, around 3 to 4 tenths easy, and over a tenth of 60....., so, wondering what your set up is......., what is it 330ing? just sounds off, unless you are hitting the scales hard......

There are several other ways to slow it down, and keep the rpms up........, its gonna stay locked even up around 6000, unless you have a WILD tune up in it........
12,000 on the auto, nice........
I have my light set at 11,700, on a hard pass, so, that would be about right.........

its got 4 washers in each arm. haven't checked the height of the nuts. honestly i have no idea where to start. any advice would be greatly appreciated! i was thinking about starting off with the nuts down just far enough to safely get a jam nut on top (keeping an even height of course) to get a low stall and then go tighter from there depending on how it feels out of the hole. remember, im on a stock arm and no bars so i dont want it to get too crazy. i wont install it untill the 30th due to money right now, so im gonna try to get everything figured out before then. any tips would kick ass

Okay, here we go.........set the top of the blue nuts all to .800". Leave the washers alone. next set the air gap.... This is important!! set it at .050" I adjust this by using the different thickness steel plates that kawi has for the 12. stick a feeler gage in a slot on the side of the basket between a plate and fiber after its all bolted together. I have all 1.6 mm plates with a few of the 2mm plates to close the gap. You can also shim the inner basket to get the air gap...MTC sells the shims.
I don't know how much you've seen one in action.....So I'm not trying to be an asshole.
But you know you really shouldn't ride a slider equipped bike in the pits it can really screw up the plates and fibers. So it's nice to have a pit bike and crew to push it around. Do the burn out with the rpm at least 2000rpm above the stall speed and when you launch you need to commit and wack it to WFO.... if you back off a little and get the rpm close to the stall speed you can also burn the clutch up.
Hope that helps, Roy

Yes, slider's are alot easier ......,
the ball park is much smaller on a lock up.
AIR GAP ON A SLIDER IS HUGE!!!!
