We are still in Loring this morning. I am about to leave the hotel, so it will be a couple of days before I am home and can really tell this story. Suffice it to say, this has been an incredible weekend!

Yesterday, we had the wind at our backs. That, combined with 1.5 miles of beautiful runway led to incredible speeds. I actually ran out of gear and had to borrow a sprocket.

Here are the numbers:

My ZX-14:

Racheal on her Turbo Hayabusa:

The slips don't even tell half of the story about this event. It was great to see everyone, and meet a few new peopIe from Bikeland. I will post a detailed account when we get home.

Congrats on the outstanding speeds Shane and Rachael. Don't think they have speed breaks at Bonneville for a Moose crossing the track!!. Did "our" chain go fast? LSL

Just finished talking to Ali (Ship) on his way back home and with a 60 shot and starting with 800 PSI while on the limiter he ran a 229.7 MPH.

Said there is nothing to compare this place to maybe Kennedy Landing Pad!

Great job everyone, what a crazy success.

Sucks about Gary's turbo seals and Bill's motor ventilation, but nothing is perfect I guess.

Like someone said, Epic.

Very impressive showing, crazy numbers who could have imagined! lol

Dean, Joe Amo better watch out after you get a sprocket or two. Maybe see if Mr. Hill can persued Sprocket specialist to make you some little steel ones.

Ali, truely amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Shane and Rachael, smoking!!!!! very, very glad things turned out well in the end. We were very very conserned driving back.

Bob Sellers, amazing 214mph on Stock 08 Busa with pipe, pc, and MROX, Plus a little tune by JC.

Impressive run of Shane Stubbs from Houston on Charlies old bike! 265!!!!!!!! better watch out you blokes across the pond!!!!!!!

Very sad about Bills bike, stuff happens though when you are at the upper limits.

Great seeing Josh Owen, Deb, Todd, Pete, Jim, Todd S., and Todd S. dad.............. Plus all their monster speeds!

Special thanks to Jim for the place to say and a wonderful Lobster/steemer feast.

Extra special thanks to Karl and BrendaSue, always a pleasure to hang out with.

A little bitter sweat on my bike, my fastest and final run felt significantly faster than I have ever been, but the timing lights did not work and turbo blew an oil seal. The Sweat part, that motor is strong and pulls very hard, It'll be back in service real soon. I kept my eyes and ears open, learned loads from Dean, Bill, Doug, Jim, Karl, JC, Guthrie, Todd and Deb, plus a little suprise from Becket! lol

Gary

Can't wait till next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Gary! Racheal and the bike will heal (although the bike is of no concern compared to her). We sure couldn't have imagined the events of this weekend on any level!

You know it has to be a good event when a high speed crash doesn't take away the enthusiasm.
