Todd,
If you don't have your logger fixed and it's an LM1 with an internal power issue let me know, theres a couple fixes that are very easy and longer lasting then the original setup.

If you can't clear it by doing a full (unplugged) calibration (not just a push the button free air gig), then cut the hot pump wire (should be red) a few inches from the hard coating coming from the sensor and see if it changes to a code 4 error (if so the short is in the sensor).
Best if you always keep a spare sensor on hand as it's the fastest and most cost effective way for fail/pass testing as well as not loosing data in the heat of battle.

Bike is off the bench, heat cycles have been run...................................but tons of stuff still left to do. Hope MicroTech secondary injector ECU works..........fingerscrossed!

I heard Entropy is up and running....................................heard he's got some of that missing power back, just for Loring!

BrendaSue, I am sure Karl would not mind if you hitched a ride with us. What's a couple days off work. LOL

Gary, sounds like your making good progress now.

You guys really need to stay over Monday night. Trust me it will be worth it once you see where you will be Sunday night/Monday.

Brenda, hide in the trunk. Once you get out of Texas they cant turn back.

like Gary says, i got off the dyno yesterday and motor is fukken strong!

we did a 12,260rpm step with open sidewinder, rattled my teeth & made 235hp.

excellent 2 - 3 - 2.5 - 2% leakdown afterwards.

Doug & I have us a ride, yep!

Brenda
you don't have to ride in the trunk, you're small enough to fit in my pocket.
Get yr travelin' shoes on dearie!

Jim,
please keep both those Cabins, we'll be needing them, yep!

Gary,
I think it would be easier to leave from my house, 9-10pm is fine. Only takes 36hrs driving
With 3 drivers we will ROLL!

Yep, leaving from your house should be ok. We will just have to leave a little earlier from Loring/Portland area.

It would be awesome to have you along BrendaSue!

Bike was on Dyno, still lots to do...................but needed preliminary testing...................secondary injectors are not working, dang MicroTech
driver. I am getting a dongle serial port on Tuesday to connect to the MicroTech
system and see what's going on. Worst case scenario JC will bypass MicroTech and has a couple tricks that might work for the secondaries.

No worries Karl, I'll keep the boost low very conservative since it's 1.5 Mile course. It's at 7ish #'s right know.

I live in Austin, I'll probably be leaving from my office (right after work) in central Austin near 6th Street and Lamar. You are more than welcome to ride with me and you can leave your car right in front of my office, they have night time security. Don't know if that's too far out of your way to drive...............but the company would sure be nice. I still need to finalize everything with Karl on when we are leaving and coming back as I cannot take too much time off.

My work address, phone and email:

Gary Dow
1211 West 6th Street Suite 800
Austin, Texas 78703
(512)457-1292
Docbonzz13@aol.com

Karl shoot me an email with your tentative itinerary.

Gary

At brenda's energy level, we'll need to crank the copcar AC to the max!

Heavy Hitter Fuel! I am perty sure no Oxy in it......................that motor likes it that way.

Curious Karl, did you get a special blend of it to bump the octane level a touch or just running it straight?

hey Mike,
I am running straight C-44, expensive as hell, but my motor likes it. Like Gary says, not oxy.

You gonna be able to make it on over to Loring??

Gary,
I'm not cutting the fuel with something to boost octane, but we tuned to 11.8-12.1 and the plugs came out looking great.
