- Our June 09 Maxton Results -
We had a great weekend running the two bikes. Racheal's Turbo Hayabusa, and my stock motor 14:

Racheal made a total of 10 passes on the Turbo. Nine of them were over 200! Not too shabby, huh? Her best for the weekend was a 208. She also enjoyed a pretty stout wheelie on a 1-2 shift.
My 14 did pretty well in the heat, with a best pass of 193.84. It has some more left in it with some tuning, and a gearing change. It only had about 150 rpm left before the limiter, and it was struggling. I need to work on the aero's and get myself slimmed down. But first up is the DL-32.
Our goal for the weekend was to get in some quality seat time, since we knew the weather was not going to be fantastic. One thing I've learned is that there is simply no substitute for time in the saddle. She made 10 passes, and I made 14, so we did accomplish that goal.
It was also nice to see a few Bikeland regulars out there, and of course the usual gang. We hope to see some of you in Maine!
Shane
PS. A BIG congrats to you Ali, for your entry into the 200 MPH club. Meet me at the dragstrip for your reward!

Awesome looking bike, Shane!
Man o' man you and Rachael were putting down passes! !
Yes, indeed put on the DL32, your tune for 95F Maxton could be perilously lean for Loring if we get good cool air.
you should go onto LandSpeed Larry's site, Loring section, see what's up.

Thanks Dean. I didn't get to see your bike with the upper on it, but that thing hauls the mail. I wonder how much more you would see with lowers?
