How long have you had the 1270 on NOS? I have heard that the 1270 does not like NOS because of the rings!

We you guys 2-stage dry, what are you using pill wise and when are you applying the 1st stage and 2nd stages? I've got a single nozzle #34 in mine now; thinking about moving to a two stage setup with one on a WOT switch and the other a button w/rpm-windows switch protection for each stage.

Yes, I was running 9 teens last year. That is why I thought putting a dry shot of nitros would easily get me into the 8's. For some reason that did not happen. Running with a one stage my fastest pass was a 9.10 at 160 mph. I struggled all year with the first half of the track. With the one stage the bike made 222 hp. So, I decided to go with a two stage with the first stage activated at full throttle. With the two stage the bike made 225 hp. I have only been to the track two times with the two stage and the longer swingarm. I do not know what KINGZX12 is running for his jet sizes. I am running a 34 in the first and a 28 in the second. According to Ryan Schnitz this should be alot more than 225. I am running stock gearing. I decided to go with stock gearing to get an idea what kind of gearing I should use.
If anyone has any suggestions on why the bike is only making 225, I would like to hear from them. You can post them here or call me 513-829-2627.
MADMIKE-
Is there anyway that I could see the pictures that were taken at Indy?
ZRXDean-
I have made about 7 passes with this new set up and the front wheel has never left the ground. Not even a sixteenth of an inch. This could be because of the gearing.

My 1270 bike from last year ran 129 mph in the 8th,stock wheelbase,it was a single #52 jet that later on,blew my head gasket and fck'd my bearings.I never dyno'd the bike.I have a friend w/1270 and retard timing making only 179hp to the wheel(bike is running rich for the juice),single #40 jet and he's at 236hp same day as the motor run on the dyno.Check your bottle pressure, detonation can make you lose hp also,so check your timing.

Ed sounds like program, fuel and or timing. Ryan is right that seems low with that combo you should be making 48-54 hp at 900 psi shoot me an email at home if you want I can help you out.
