Finally got into the 9's
I only took this sport up in March and my goal has been to get into the 9's. I got my Drag licence, started competing in the championships and love it to death. Last night I ran a 9.95 which is a PB for me. My bike is stock, lowered 2" in the rear with a strap on the front, no PCIII everything else stock. I might even take out the rookie of the year award if I can stay on top of the points ladder.
Good luck all you drag racers, our season down here just started so I've got 6 months of bliss ahead of me.

That's my goal too
That's great Oz! I hope I make it into the 9's.My best is currently 10.52@139.It's not going to be easy for me as I weigh over 300 with all my gear.I have a few mod's in mind to help me to get to the 9's.I will use NO2 if I have to!

Thanks guys
Thanks for the inspiration guys, after all, it was you guys that got me to try this sport in the first place
I learnt the best way to improve was to set little goals and just move the goal posts every time a goal was achieved. When I did 10.7 I aimed for 10.5 and then 10.3 and so on. I do need to be more aggressive as my 60' times are only in the 1.7's.

VERY coool OZ...
These things don't just "ride themselves" do they???
9-second street bikes are a dime a dozzen now compaired to years ago but...people with a 9-sec time slips in they're hand aren't as common...
Way to go OZ... You should be proud for sure...
