cylinder spacer leak

I've had a constant leak ever since I started the motor up.Is there anyway to seal up the cylinder spacer without pulling the motor and disassembling? This is on a 2000 zx12r.

pete,
that's pretty weird, i don't use any goop on the spacer + base gaskets and have never had a leak.

i dunno how you'd seal it without taking it apart, maybe some JB weld on the area?

It's more of a weeping leak where I will get a 5" puddle under the bike if it sits for awhile yet won't do it if on the stand straight up.

are you sure it is the spacer and not the valve cover oil that can collect at the ridge at the spacer?. Did you use some kind of "SCRAPER" on the case or cylinder that may have ruined the surface? Did you use a NEW Gasket when rebuilkding the engine? If you used the same one and did not use it on the same side that could also cause this!
