ACE PERFORMANCE GOES 210.88mph N/A ZX-12R!!!

Since the arrival of the ZX-12R in 2000, it's always been the underdog... but that didn't stop Dale from purchasing one, in fact it encouraged him. He ended up finding just that "dog" when he contacted Dreamworks pictures about the ZX-12R featured in the movie, "Bikerboyz" which was ridden by "Dog" (Kid Rock). It wasn't soon after that "The Dog" was sleeping in his garage.....................

WORD!
Sal wanted me to inspect the bike for nitrous in case there were any naysayers.
I checked the tail section, right airbox inspection plate, peeked through a crevice at the top of the battery cover, checked the top of the motor, throttle bodies/injector area...no sign of foul play.
Congrats on a job well done. Very close to Sal's personal Busa 1348cc n/a record of 212 .... with WAY less CCs....

I also inspected the bike...definitely no nitrous...
The big question is...how much faster can this thing get?!?

Awesome achievement, and i don't think that anyone who knows Sal would ever accuse him of cheating.

Anytime someone does something outstanding there will be naysayers doubting the accomplishment. I'm even sure there was some folks that thought Karl may have been fudging!!!!!
As you said Karl, the folks that know Sal......know Sal and he has too much riding on his reputation for shenanigans.
Congratulations to both Sal & Karl for showing the LSR crowd that the 12 has not been forgotten. You guys are great builders and riders.

Yes sir, Sal and Karl are awsome! Hope the Battle for the Fastest 12 continues. Sure would be neat to see a N/A 12 run 215 or even 220mph.

The only other bike that even came close to this was Millholland's Sons riding a Very serious ZX12R that ran 207 to 209.
You are not that small so that is a real job done out there!

Believe it or not I know I can still go faster on this bike
knowing where to look with a few changes 214+ MPH is what I am looking for
215 mph is not impossible in the mile.
loring 1.5 mile track leaving the bike (as is) according to
loger given speed and extra distance would be NO problem seeing 214 MPH

I would realy like to go to loring I have a buddy said I can run his bike if I show up
also if dale was to go there would be a good chance of going only I would be
looking for a plane ticket I dont like long drives.

Given an extra .5 mile run and based on our 211 MPH speed at the mile and
At a average speed of 213.7767 MPH we would have 8.42 seconds
longer to stay in the throttle.
I looked at my logs and the bike was geared for 216,5 MPH when I made
the 210.88 mph run and according to the rate of exeleration VS time also
knowing we have to pull another 5 MPH of aero drag we would pull the rev
limiter in 1.5 miles @ 216.5 MPH with no head or side winds.
I will talk to the guys about going to loring.
With no head wind or side winds and there cooler summer temps I think we
could pull some serious MPH !
