What happens when you put 12r links on an r6?
this:

this is a side project me and my buddy got going. its his bike and he wants to have the quickest 600 at the track. right now the quickest 600 is some chick that runs low 11's. we plan on mid/high tens. we still need to fab up some brackets to strap the front. the cool part about this is i'm the test pilot/jockey. one thing i noticed during some testing is that when you take off the seat, the funky shape of the tail makes it really easy to grip with your thighs and keep toward the front of the bike. i'll let you guys know how things go once we get it out to the track.

fried the clutch last night. bad things happen when you launch at 15,000 and have to ride the clutch out to get a halfway decent launch. my problem is that i'm not getting on the throttle quick enough after the launch. best 60' was a 1.88. still has plenty left in it, not even liftting the front tire and the front end still isn't strapped. not too bad considering i have 5 passes on it. hopefully between the two of us we can get everything back in running order by the next race.
