New ZX-14 product spied....

I was over at Muzzys yesterday and saw some nice new billet stacks for ZX-14's that they'll be announcing any time now. Two lengths - Std and longer

How hard are they to Install??

Bear made some a few years ago which work well but did not feel they were easy enough for "Average Joe" to install. The way the 12 and 14 mount are different and that was the problem!

Don't know whart would be "hard" about it. These look pretty straightforward to me, come with new rubber spigots.

That was part of the problem getting them seated! If he has worked this out then it will be something that the ZX14 really could use and their owners have LONG been waiting for!

The way the Factory Pro stacks are designed, they seem to install fairly easily.

I removed and installed my stock stacks, and throttle bodies within an hour.

Maybe Bear's stack didn't use the different rubber spigots?

No I dont get tired of pointing it out.. I would think a manufacturer of aftermarket parts would know the correct nomenclature of a motocycle..

But yes I feel better now!!!!!!!

Thanks...

This is another one of the parts you never can figure out if they make a difference, I've read so many post saying they offer no et gain at all. maybe later in the year I will try a set a see for myself.

Muzzys, never claimed ANY power increase with the stacks for the 12. They are considered a tuning aid which allows moving the torque peak around a bit. I would assume the same to be true for the 14.

Was that making or moving hp to require the clutch tune change tho? Both will do it right?
