I weight 185 my bike is a 01 12r with straped ft end 17/48 gearing. i've gone 10.06-10.15@142 and change. I just installed a timing adv(set at 4) and k+n filter. But the bike lost two mph, the air was not very good tonight so I'll test next week to see if it's really slower.

Joey,
2 reasons, I don't post any pix these days. My digicam disappeared; just evaporated; my family just shugs when I ask where it is...
Photoshop took a dump and took what pix I had with it.

Hey man, when are you going to be on two wheels again?????? Shit, its been 6 mo?????? You gonna make it for the 1st Texas Shootout?

I just dropped of my 12r with Dwayne and Phil(BBwatercool) at Cycle Concepts in SC. and after seeing some of thier work and the shop, I left feeling very impressed and excited. I cant wait to get my bike back when they are finished with it. By the way Dwayne on our way back to NC my younger brother with the stretched and NOS Busa called and ordered a Turbo kit for his bike,he cant wait until I get my bike back also, and my other brother with the zx11 is thinking about buying the other 12 you have there and letting you do some work to it also. I am feeling more and more like it was worth the trip from Delaware to your shop.

i just have a strap. I'm shifting w/out the clutch, and I haven't found engine temp to effect mph. but i'm open to advice on that subject.

1/4 mile times

Heres one for ya all !!! As you can see by my handle I ride a 2001 GSX-R 600. I had a Yosh bolt on.. and lowered the front sprocket one tooth. I have .. so far.... ran an ET of 10.992@125.848MPH, oh and I am about 6ft tall and weigh about 200lbs. :-P I made some mods and got an M4 High mount full system with a Titanium can so I am anxious to see what it will do now... If this rain would ever stop !!!!!

Try to keep both tires on the track !!!!

We run best at 4-4.5 deg timinng advance...
Sounds like you might need to re-map at 100% throttle on a dyno with a sniffer with the K&Ns...you can optimize the timing for YOUR bike while your at it...

Intra,
I saw some of the posts related to complications with folks connected to building yr bike. I have a hard time imagining someone fucking with you and getting away with it...

Anyway, it seems that almost everyone is coming to 2002 with extra hp. Texas Shootout 2002 ought to be interesting, all these hp junkies in a (predominately) bracket series. LOL, it'll be fun. TFA will always have some shade for ya, even if you don't remotely fit the min qualifications for TFA membership.
