The coolest mount I've seen is using the frame bolt above the shifter and mounting it verticle directly to the lever. I thought about converting my Muzzys setup to that and bagging the bracket. I'll see if I have pics of that method somewhere in my stash..

OK,I just looked on the ZX-12R.ORG site, and it's got a good pic of none other then ZX12GIRL's air shifter, set up just like Bergie said, and it's the same airshifter I have, cool, maybe she can fill us in,I need to know what the bracket looks like where it hooks to the shift arm itself, and what hardware was used to mount to the frame bolt.?(Hope she's still checking this board out).

OK....I'll answer your questions since ZX12 Girl is busy at her job with a promotion. Go figure, has a broke leg. Stays off work for 3 months, comes back to work with a promotion I used a 1/4x1-1/4 fine thread bolt from the hardware store. Drilled through the frame bolt with a 7/32 drill bit, tapped the hole with a 1/4-28 NF. I used washers to get the proper spacing between the slave cylinder and the frame and used two nuts to lock the washers in place. I bolted the slave cylinder to the frame bolt. On the shift lever, I welded a tab at the end of the shift lever and drilled a hole for the clevis and pin. Got a digital camera and could take closeup pics but, I do know how to post them How the info helps
