I wish KHI would produce a two-piece unit you could really clean. Hard to see the nooks and crannies of the ZX10 pickup housing.

Karl, That hurts to look at! Nothing but money up in smoke! Makes my stuff look like a valve adjustment! Sort of like the Soliders of Iraq stating when they lose a Foot or a hand that they got a "Scratch" (Compared to losing the leg or arm!)

TO ALL. Emergency cut out on oil failure wiring device

I dont know if this idea is done regularly and can,t find it in the forums ect
Have had probs with oil pressure failure and have been working on an idea to limit the amount of damage once the pressure has dropped, IE shutting the motor down. With me usualy the oil light will flicker or come on briefly whilst at speed before it comes on fully. If you dont see it then your still under power the motor destroys itself. If you can cut the motor as soon as the pressure reaches a critical low point or if the oil light comes on, You could pull the clutch and coast to stop then inspect and find prob. Simple logic.
I am going to fit a pair of relays wired as in the pics . The relays are "set" when the starter is pressed. If the pressure drops the relays are "unset" and can only be reset on restart. This stops the motor restarting at speed if the pressure rises back up after initial failure.
There will still be damage done in the time between shut down and clutch but you wont be under power.
Cant post pic so go here
