Well, just got back from Texas mile/ Nhra weedend. What a great time at the mile. I arrived at the airport around 9:20- 9:30am friday morning. I parked close to where the motorcycles were pitted so I could see some action and be in the mix. Walked toward TFA pits to introduce myself . After seeing Karl leave a nice smoke trail after 1/2 mile marker, I turned around back toward the car to get the beer I offered to bring as a condolence of some sort . When I neared the TFA pit I heard Doug speaking of what could be wrong with the bike and after a quick start-up then off situation a quick assesment was made. Whith in 10 minutes, these guys were loading up, heading back to Houston, to re-build. Amazing!!! I would have been 2 runs and DONE.... I dont understand why 1badzx12r would say people are snobs and stuff like that. I met Gary, Osti, MadMike and Lil mike , Karls wife, Karl, Doug, J.cheese..... Good people.......... but I was offering Beer, Sorry I missed ya Brendasue.. Maybe next time.....Big Congrats Karl and MM

Response: Maybe you get back what you dish out? Sorry you have had a bad experience with the people, it has never happened to me and I have been to every event except one.

Response: If it's not your cup of tea, why do you keep going for more abuse? You can thrash a motor anywhere and easily spend 2 grand. Budweiser never sponsored Yancey's bike that Guthrie ran in the summer of 04. Plus Bill Warner just took that record down naked. The wind issue was no secret either as Karl had posted the forecast by accuweather on SuzukiHayabusa.org's LSR section.

It's kind of ridiculous to tell someone who has a record to come out and take me in my neck of the woods when I don't have any mph to show. The Master of the house does not chase the servant around.
Dane, glad to have you out. Sorry I did not get to hang out with you more. I had a little rotor issues and then headed out back to Ausin for my kids Baseball games. Hope you can make it out again and maybe make some passes.

hey 1bad, how about a big glass of SHUT THE FUCK UP. that or try to not be such a prick when you type (someone left out 2 letters and you fly off the handle when it could have been pointed out nicely and corrected). as you can see, your "personality" is not appreciated. when you type, its looks like a big insult, so guys mouth back, you think they started shit and it escalates. you bring it all on yourself. you dont have many friends do you?....
go back and hang out on psychobike, you dont like it here anyway because you are too lazy to type stuff like this:

karl, doug, brenda, johnny cheese, madmike and son, 2 brothers whose names i forgot, one might be gary with the darl glasses but i cant really remember, A guy from california that has a supercharged stationwagon that sounded so incredible as he over took us all on the way to eat. I know he told me his name 20 or 30 times but alzhiemers kept eating the cells where it was stored and i cant even remember who the guy behind doug is.
KZ Scott......you need to come to the event in october there are a bunch of us that want to meet you. And you too woopie.
I know that TRNorBRN was there but for the life of me i cant remember if he was osti's dad or one of the guys in the pic. I have some more pics and will get to them later

1badzx12r, the fastest recorded speed on an N/A Kawasaki in the United States is Karl & Doug's pair of 208.7's... there is no debating this fact. Did they have great conditions? Sure, but that's part of the sport. The vast majority of records are set during ideal wind conditions anyway, so it's not like there's going to be an asterik next to this events speeds. lol
Are there faster N/A Kawasaki's out there? Maybe and maybe not, but one thing is for sure.. none have gone faster in competition and that's what counts.
KARL- Thank you for the kind words in your initial post. Don't let anyone give you crap about the winds, you guys EARNED it.

Not one single person has claimed Karl's bike is the fastest Kawasaki in Texas or the world, so I'm not sure where you're getting all this, "fastest kawasaki period" stuff from.
But if you want to get technical, I believe the Big CC Racing Turbo ZX-12R that went 240mph in the UK is the fastest Kawasaki in the world (non-streamliner of course).
As you can probably tell, Karl and Doug are in the kawasaki spotlight right now... why not just chill out with the negativity for a while and let them enjoy their 15 minutes? After all the track drama and hustle... they deserve at least that much don't you think?

Well I just have one thing to say about Dougs 15 minutes of fame. The only way he would be left with just 15 minutes is if you took away few thousand hours worth. That man has been setting records for a long time.
Everyone is allowed thier own oppinion but you should deliver it with the respect that people deserve. And anyone who can't understand that dosent deserve a voice at all.
I think that 1bad likes to be argumentative and start shit ......proven by his disrespect in other forums. It is this terrible personality flaw that will cause him to always be a loser no matter how fast his bike is.
