Shane, who did that arm for you? If you want to paint it gloss black just put appliance epoxy spray paint on it. Tougher than standard spray paint.

I have used this product quite a bit with good results.

Just follow the directions and DO NOT rush it.

I'll have to remember about the epoxy paint as I like to put a coat on the clutch ,alternator, sprocket and crank position covers.Cleaning the bike with degreasers makes the regular paint run but this stuff says it holds up to those products.

Polish it....Use some air craft stripper to get the rest of the paint off and polish it out!!! the front of the swing arm is the only hardest part to polish (because it is sandcast) just use a DA for that with some 230 grit. Thew new sections and sides on it will polish up fast.

I have the same arm. I just painted mine it's holding up well, but I'll have it powder coated when the tracks close again. The only places that the paint is coming off is where my nitrous lines rub it when I'm not using the bottle

Ok, well, went with the rattle can job. I've had good luck in the past with cheap paint, so we'll see this time...it is indoor/outdoor paint.

Only a couple of weeks until racing starts and I can't seem to get motivated...

Nice looking arm....Mine is polished and is a pain to keep it looking that way....You can just spray another coat on if your`s starts looking rough....Good job...

Shane, AutoZone and Advance Automotive aad few other places sell Caliper and Brake Paint! Has some ceramic and Barke cleaner does not bother it! 2 different companies make it one is a lot better than the other! I used it for my wheels and before the spray dried I tried to clean off the Overspray and it was HARD to do! Good stuff
