Woo-HOO! Doug Meyer coming to the Texas Mile!!
I am guessing TFA-ers will be staying in Beeville again, it was very convenient and the cheapest ($50-55/nite).
I will NOT be reserving a big block of rooms this time cuz it got real complicated with many changes. I nearly got caught holding the bag (thanks to Scott Guthrie for picking up a late cancellation!!)

Bringing the ole beater 02 ZX12 turbo, should be running better this time. Not sure about the 3 days either. May be staying onsite, my crewchief stepped up and bought a motorhome for his own drag racing efforts, and has volunteered to bring it. TFA shade provider at the least!

Don't know just yet If it'll be the 2 or 3 day look either. I hear registration should be opening within the next couple of weeks and they are still undecided if they will be doing the three day look. I do believe they are working out the 09 NASA race schedule at this time.
Don't If I'll be running my little 12, the LSR Busa, or both. All parts should be back in around 3-4 weeks. Early Feb.
Main goal get Big Bro in the Texas 200mph club.

Karl put me down green 00 ZX12 stroker with a touch of N2O and Robert, Brother(AusTexBusa) Blue and silver 00 Busa with a bit of a stroke as well. Probably N/A, but maybe some juice to pull the top end a little.
I'd like 210-215HP out of the old 12 with the new build, but will probably only come up with 200-205 with all the abused parts left in it. I'll probably go back to the 70shot as well.
Hope the new Busa build will pull around 250ish HP, it's not the monster Osti has but it should do. Maybe a little 80 shot on top of that if all N/A will not pull my brother (6'6" and well over 370lbs).
Cheese is planning on running his old 1507cc Turbo Copper Top Busa as well.

Karl, I wear a small usually sometimes a medium. And the mythical beast is currently in surgery with 2 of the finest Dr.'s in the land. They are skilled surgeons and can do the immpossible. In fact there is no one alive that knows this mythical beast as well as one of these great surgeons so I am sure that when the operation is complete along with the restoration of the paint etc......to the original LSR bike that it was ............I will be the shit...............imagine that...........a legend in my own mind. Now, think you can coax Doug back down?
