shall i delete flite's posts from KZ's threads???

I don't want to do anything hasty, but KZ previously asked me to delete flite's brand of nonsense from his threads.

I declined to do so, saying flite is annoying, but he'll eventually go away.
He didn't.

Now his watery diarreah is slopping everywhere.
I am told i am a person who is hard to annoy.
I'm a titsch annoyed

These are good threads with useful info, flite's 1/4 baked bullshit is detracting from it.

what say ye Dragbike Zone contributors?

Shall I delete flite's posts from KZ and my threads? From your thread?

No banning going on here, flite could start his own threads.

Well, aside from everything else...I think Scott has a valid request, based on the amount of time and effort he puts into his threads. He doesn't invite trash response, and in my opinion, some of those responses are diminshing the value of the threads.

yes please! and any further posts he makes in any thread i start feel free to zap. theres also some posts by other guys in my threads that are only replies to flite and not the subject at hand. they are not really on topic, and if they were removed to clean up the thread that would be great, IF however the poster doesnt mind. for example if you remove flites posts and then theres just a rebuttal setting things straight("randomly" left in the middle of the thread), its not really needed as theres no context

I personally dont see any objectivity in the posts by flite.Perhaps Im not intellegent enough
to decipher the broken "engrish".
I dont see anything that was beneficial, or that complimented Scotts efforts,
I enjoy the occasional joker in the threads.......but this is a different matter
about a 9.0 on my "weird-shit-o-meter"
I say honor Scotts request.....
Thanks for your threads Scott.........

yes do honor his request and if I have any squish stick nonsense in there please take it out also. I love being able to learn so much from this forum and to me that is the most important thing to preserve here......the ability to learn from the knowledge of others. you could maybe move a copy of the thread and all posts to the smack place and clean up the ones on dragbike zone! Just an idea!

He may not be liked by many on the board but he is entitled to his opinion. He might be right, he might be wrong, but he is trying to contribute and spit knowledge. Is it erroneous? Maybe, but why not just keep ignoring him? I thought that was what the ignore button was for. He's already been schooled by others and until he shows some real cred instead of hazy references most don't give him any real respect because he hasn't proven jack.

Besides, you guys know deep down you get a kick out of his goofy posts ;-)

The problem is he doesnt really give an opinion. He just rambles jibbrish. If he actually contributed or said somthing with some substance at least once in a while it would be one thing.
But he brings nothing but disruption and annoyance to the table. He doesnt even bother to follow a topic. He usually rambles incorrectly about things that have nothing to do with the thread.

I would love to debate him on somthing but he refuses to focus and actually say somthing with substance. So theres nothing to actually talk about or discuss.

I have no problem with a differing opinion. Actually I love differing opinions, you can learn from it or at least understand why someone is thinking the way they do.

I say give him a chance to actually be relevant to a topic and offer some substance. If he cant then he is basically a troll or fishing or whatever you want to call it, and its just filling threads with useless B/S.

But if you want to just nuke em, thats fine with me too.

he can have his opinion as long as he doesnt post in my threads and lead them way off topic with useless garbage.(i dont care about his own threads, those are his) ive asked/told him more than once to not post in my threads yet he continus to do so even though i cant see them when im logged in. bikeland was awesome untll flite came allong. he pays no attention to anything i post, and it seems like its his mission to argue and show that everyone else is wrong(more so me than anyone if you read every thread). hes completely negative and claims to be some expert, but shows NO PROOF and doesnt help at all as far as saying how to build something correctly. generally if someone on here says that im doing something wrong they tell me the correct way. flite doesnt fit into this general catagory. the guys that follow every topic on here would agree.

I hear what you're saying KZ, but is it really that hard to just ignore him? You know him enough now to know just because you ask or tell him to go away he won't. I said it earlier, he's already lost considerable cred. Entropy deleting his posts I think leads to a bit of a slippery slope (mob mentality). You play RIGHT into his hands by getting all worked up. Focus on your set-up from the ground up. I would say that out of much of the gibberish he's spewed one thing is true (although a given so its not like I'm giving him a pat on the back or anything)...and that is, in terms of your rebuild, check everything over and over. Clearances, adustments, readjustments, etc. He seems to keep pulling you back to that idea that before you go BIG, go Right. Some of the techincal stuff is over my head although I do understand the concept...I'm no engine builder.

Other than that, just focus on you and your motor...all the little details. What if I came on here and said hey KZScott, you got it all wrong, listen to me. You're stretched out with a big shot and should go significantly faster than you already have. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but all you can do is focus on making each next step of yours right.

My 2 cents in terms of technical is (re)start small with the spray and work your way up. Big motors and Big spray ... you always walk a very fine line. Look around and ask yourself who consistently runs BIG spray and a BIG motor? I'm not talking about 1 or 2 passes, or even a few. You want to beat the snot out of your bike (hey, you race it!).

Best of luck and happy new year.

if everyone ignored him and the thread didnt get way off track it would be fine since i cant see his posts. but when we are trying to share info and learn about stuff and he posts garbage which has to be corrected, it detracts from the usefullness of the thread.
i will be checking everything, but flite is not the reason.
im well aware that i should go much quicker with my setup. i wouldnt argue with you, you could have got my bike to run 8s easy because you have more skill/practise ect ect. its a big learning curve trying to do all of this. i enjoy it so if im slow to show killer times and a completely bullet proof motor im ok with that. ill get there eventually.
who runs a big motor with big spray reliably? ask Wolf racing about his 1427 with a 150 shot. i dont have as much motor or spray...
happy new yr

I only have used the ignore feature twice I believe in about 5 years of being on this forum.....flite was one of the cases....and it only took me a few responses from him to figure his waste and unproductive nature ....not so personal..but his input leads nowhere....told him...and he is not listening...

glad I ignored him....the ignore feature has it's use....

it would seem that theirs some on here that resent the fact that kz likes to work on his own bike and post the ups and downs of his build. i for one enjoy reading his post's and still learning a thing or two from them. even after 8 years of doing it my self. i still pick up new things here and there from him. even tho he's not some self proclaimed expert. it would be nice to see a little respect given to him for taking his time to post on it. if you cant do that than way even bother to open his threads.
