Not really "drilling" so much as Grinding off to make a flat surface on the top for more oil flow. I think berg posted a ghetto diagram of what it should look like about 10 posts up

Crotch, you have to EDM the shaft lengthwise and then cross drill the end like a "T" This way the puller gets oil too.
I know a guy that does a fantastic job for $25 or so.
I think he does it on exchange.
