That is a very large bottle. Why not get another 2lbs or 2.5lbs and install it in front of the rear wheel if you are extended? That way you will have a total of 4 or 4.5 lbs.

That has always been a problem using systems that use 4 NItrous Jets. They run out of N20 quicker and drop N20 pressure faster.

KZ, how about making a plate to mount where your rear peg hanger mounts
and then use two Pro-werks brackets for the 5 pound bottle. I know a ZX-12
and Busa guy that do this. The Bottle snugs up right behind your thigh and
leg. Sorry, don't have any pictures.........but I could probably get some for you
this weekend. For some reason I only have pictures showing the exhaust side.
You will just have to make a little offset so it does not tag your chain guard or
swingarm. I have seen it tap the chain guard into the tire and shave a brand
new tire. LOL

thx for the info and pic guys! those Pro-werks brackets look like just what im after! Ive got lots of room in front of the wheel and would prefer to keep the bottle from hanging off of the side of the bike. I still may put them on a plate however so i can try to angle the bottle correctly.

Thanks Rich, never really seen it from that angle. I think I was running around 265lbs back then. Dang I need to loose at least 20-30lbs before the start of this new season.
Mr. Guy Caputo runs a 5'er in is arm, give him a call I am sure he could point you in the right direction.

They are actually running 10 pound bottles nowadays! Jim Owen ZX12R 219 MPHRecord Setter mounted one in the tail section and mounted a plate for his tail light and license plate and Seldon Seen Slim mounted his in the frame there the Gas tank used to be and then has a small tank on top where the old tank was!
Guy Capulto from Toledo Ohio 225 MPH NOS Record had a 2.5 pound bottle behind his legs.
Me I have a 5 pound in my tail section and Bottle heater along with a 20 Amp Battery (Takes a little modification of the stock battery location and you gain 6 Working Amps!) It can be adapted into stock tail sections specially the longer ones!
