that would be awesome! Last I heard about Jims 1375, it was supposed to be reborn as a 1394 with better "bottoms" on the cylinder block for skirt support. weld up and no chamfer maybe? not sure.... but no doubt it would have a stage 3 competition cnc head on it... NA?

I really cant say too much about it, its not my cat to skin, i'm just holding the tail.
But its not my ole 12r. But my ole 12 IS getting a bump to 1427cc and new cams and a CNC big port head among other things this year. I'm going to see what I can get out of it and keep it streetable, on pump gas.

Just out of curiosity, how much bigger could you go if you sleeved the block and went with more offset? (like what you are doing for the 14) Rob Muzzy mentioned an 88mm bore a few yrs ago on the dragbike.com forums but I dont think it was ever made. how much offset would you go without making a head to match? more than the Muzzy block?

Well, were at a standstill on the ofset MID block for the zx14. Steve (Darton Sleeves) says he cant go past 87mm. But that 87mm would be able to take big boost or heavy spray and the liners will be replaceable if one was to get damaged.
I was hoping for 88-89mm. I'm not convinced that guys will spend $2000 for 87mm no matter how durable it is.
