go for the 10 it's lighter and makes just as much hp. you just have to turn it harder. ether way you can't go wrong.

I went to teh Kawasaki dealer today and sat on the ZX14....fit was ok.
But....I am not liking the looks of that bike for some reason.
I wonder if it is like a Busa and has to grow on you!

its not nearly as sexy as a 12, especially the 00 and 01, but way better looking than the busa :P
Im in the middle of NB it borders Maine. we race in Miramichi (MDP)
cool, you can cange my jets theres 8 in the air box and my hands dont fit so well in there lol, the single jet under the seat is a joke tho lol

Here is what I am thinking....two bikes in the future.
1k class for daily riding - ZX10 or Honda....or another ZX12R
Busa for the track.

IMO the ZX-10 for the drag strip. 1000cc drag racing. Very competitive-full of Gixxers and Honda's. Just lower it,gear it and take the seat off, full bolt-ons and Power commander, 9.0's in the mid- high 150mph range, 8's if you can get some low 1.5 short times. Light weights seem to do very well on them.
BTW, it's embarrassing how much faster the ZX-10 is from a roll compared to a pre-08 Busa, no matter what the weight of the rider is. GSXR 1k is a good choice too-just don't get a pre-08 busa(unless you plan on splitting the cases), you will be left in the dust by all the liter bikes out there now as well as the new Bus and 14. The ZX-12 is the only "old" bike that can still compete without tearing inside the motor.
