Tire pressure gage...What do you use?
Yes, I know it's a newbie question, but I would like to know if the more expensive
gages are worth the money. Thanks.

Ashcroft 25 1009 AW 02L 60psi installed on a Goodyear bleeder assy/hose
Grade 1A, certified +/-1% pin-to-pin accuracy
About $45 from Grainger for the gauge alone
I wouldn't trust anything less.

I use a Craftsman digital guage, have been since 2003. Tested it against numerous analog gauges and its right on.

some good gauges can read down accurately to 1/4 of a pound
rarely neccessary for street riding.......................or drag strip
it more important to always use the same gauge
in relatively the same conditions
i always read mine at approx the same temps.......OUT of sunlight
(UV rays Will heat up the tyre even unridden)
i like the analog gauges.............no big deal if you know
& use them properly

Guys, thanks for the replies. I didn't think this question would generate this many
responses as I also posted on ZX14 site also. Although the replies here got to the
point without all the fluff.
