Will 00 and 01 ZX12 ECUs Interchange?
They have different part numbers and slightly different prices from Ron Ayers but I've got an 01 ECU I'd like to try on the misbehaving 00 I'm having problems with. I don't want to fry my friends 01 ECU if I can help it. The 00 bike is losing the injector power (they won't pulse) when the bike is hot. No codes.

Sure nuff. I didn't even notice. Thanks, Scott. Don't have to worry about frying them now. Anyone have an 00 ECU for sale or loan?

the wires come out of the plugs very easy. if you get the manuals out and pop the wires out of the plugs you can put them in the other plugs at the correct position. but then u will have the speed limited ecu.ridge herd of someone that spliced the them the hard way. i guess they did not know how to get the wires out.

00 and 01 will not interchange without moving the ex cam pickup.
even if you had the matching harnes.

Thanks for the help but the problem wasn't the computer. It was old gas!
