lowering foot pegs
I lowered the foot pegs so I wouldn't have as far to go with the weaker leg from the hip replacement. I ended up having to extend part of the exhaust pipe, which I stole Karl's idea thank you, with a 2 1/4' stainless pipe. The Muzzy pipe was metric and the place that did the work only had standard but had to expand it anyways to fit.

I still have to replace the linkage with the extended one but here it is on the bike

I just use buell footpegs........,
But, when you get it leaving hard, those pegs are not where your feet will end up anyway.........
you will want a second set, farther back.

Well, I didn't want to start with only three springs because of my weight.I know you are not talking about the weights on the arms as that is only for lock up pressure.I still haven't figured out how to tell if the tire pressure is off or the static pressure in the springs need to be changed.

So if I read between the lines Nox,you are telling me to take some of the weight off of two mating arms and all on two which would make the lock up more progressive?

Not sure what you mean. I see 6arms, looks like they are all set up the same.
That is a two stage clutch. Or single stage, what ever, same thing.
What two arms are you calling "mating arms" or do you mean opposing (spelling?) arms?
Its WAY more complicated than that..............
Pm me if you need help.
Good luck. Be safe.

Yes,I was referring to the opposing arms.I want to ask MTC for a base set up and go from there. As burnt as I am, I still look at these things as a puzzle waiting to be solved. You were referring to having pegs farther back, due to where the muffler sits now I can't mount anything on the swing arm.

Yeah, works only with a sidewinder.
I love messing with these things. There is a great satisfaction by working on it, making a true adjustment, and then seeing it go faster. BUT, there are some inside things, that I am not truly sure if MTC knows, that affects these things in a HUGE way.
Good luck. If you run into the wall, I ain't going anywhere.

Its not hard to get to it between runs, just cut the fairing, where you can get a cordless drill to the bolts, set it on a low setting, and its not bad, lean it over good, and you wont spill any oil.
I can get a tune up change in mine in about 15 min. 10 if I go like mad and dont have to change hold back springs.
