Clutch Maint.
Just decided to get into my lockup clutch and check out everything to see how it`s holding up....Looks real good..No wear on the puller, just a little hot spotting on the steels...I turned the steels over so the sharp side is out, installed the ani chatter rings as recommended by NOX....Checked stack height 2.219....Went to the high side by adding some steel came out to 2.278...Didn`t like it....Had to pull all the adjusters out to max....So I ended up finding some fibers that got the height down to 2.23, all the adjusters came out perfect the way I like it....Lubed the cable, neddle bearings, cover shaft bearings....This is the smoothest this clutch has worked/felt in a long time....Actually had enough time to slow down and take my time to doing everything....VERRRY SMOOOOTH now...I`m still running those springs you sent with your old lockup NOX....Can you beleive it....I`ve tried some others , but end up takingt them right back out....Sometimes when I`m riding down the rode I think the wind is pushing in on the clutch lever, because it`s so easy to pull in,LOL.....
