exhaust check valve
where would i find a check valve to evac the crank case to the exhaust like you see on most drag cars(from the valve covers) that dont have a vaccum pump?

Why not just use a pcv from a car?My ports into the exhaust ended up getting clogged so I just blocked it off.

ok, i picked one up, but it doesnt seal perfectly when i blow thru it backwards, and im not sure if it will flow enough the right way. i guess i wont know till i try.
how far down stream will this have top be to not interfere with my wideband o2 sensor?

Why not just do the crankcase vent mod? It was proven to add a tiny amount of hp, and costs about 5 bucks at home depot.........
I have it done, and it works just fine........., have had it this way for years........

cant data log that way, it fugs up the AFR
i had that done last yr, but cant this yr
and the pcv valve has been tested, and doesnt work. damn.... gotta check out something else. some sort of reed valve

robbed the BIG check valve off of my uncles vette since its apart prematurly due to some nitrous issues. it works, its just way overkill. normally threads onto a 3/4 pipe. pics later

when i was looking for the ex check valve, one of the guys at a truck/heavy equipment parts store mentioned a fuel check valve, i think it operated using a ball bearing??
you cant find a vented cap?

a woppi cushion???
I'm not using the stock cap anymore and have a breather hose. I wanna put a lil check valve on that hose; let excessive pressure out, but keep air from getting in

I thought you would want to let air in so it doesn't become vapor locked.Just out of curiousity,what are you using for a cap?Seems like a ball check valve would have to have a very light spring yet still overcome the inertia from acceleration.Maybe putting a Hartford loop in the hose would work.

take out the smog shit as if you were going to install block offs, but keep just the 2 hoses coming out of the valve cover. put a "T" fitting there. plug the hole in the air box with JB weld, or if you are fancy, get a circle tigged in there. run the crank case breather tube to the T fitting instead of the air box. plug that hole in the air box too. now instead of pulling air out of the air box, it sucks it out of the crank case. causing a slight vaccum. reports show no change ranging to 2 added hp

thanks i got the block off plates on one 12 and the 2 hose's run to gather on my other 12 its been that way cents 2000. i may put a t in that one.
