Best Nitrous Solenoids?
Anyone have any suggestions for good nitrous solenoids? I will be using a two-dial controller, so it will be getting pulsed frequently.
I've seen quite a few "cheap" solenoids fail. Are they all created equally?

i was reading about pulsoids (sp?) and they looked to be better in theory(supposed to never need a rebuild), but i have no personal or second hand expirience with them.
not sure about quality of regular solenoids compared to cheap ones. im guessing if you go with a well respected brand name you will be fine.
ill be watching this one

That would be the Nos wizard from across the pond. Guy Caputo ran some in his, but I am perty sure does not anymore. The jet is set up right after the pulsoid. Give Guy a call and see what he has to say.

NOS brand solenoids have a lower current drain than most other solenoids. If solenoids are pulling too many amps, the system voltage will fall, the fuel pump will slow, and bad things will happen.

You guys are starting to scare me! Too Sharp for me!
NOS Do draw less current than Nitrous Express! To flow the amount I needed to flow then NE took as much as 18 amps at 100% that is as much as my 20 Amp Battery had all by itself! The ad the Bottle heat and maybe even operate the engine and I was out of current (Made the bike run crappy also ) There are other ways to plumb the nos but the way mine is set up it is totallyu controlled by pressure regulators. Makes for easy Power changes And also makes for EASY Mistakes when you forget to change both settings! no need to ask me how I know!

With a 2 dial,i would use 2 solenoids. One as a safety (on/off) and the other to pulse.
I used the small dynotune solenoids for a for a few years, gave up on them. Went back to the small N.O.S. solenoids, past 1150 they will stick.

We've used NOS solenoids for five years and no drama. We run two solenoids, Walbro pump with no problems on standard battery.
