zx12 cams
can any one till me how to till how big cams are with out them being in head? got a set of 12 cams and not sure if thay are stock are not. thanks

the cam circle on the ZX12 = 1.095" (i am pretty sure about this)
measure the long dimension of the cam lobe, subtract 1.095 = max lift

what do's the # 419-bc385 mean and below that what looks like 08-04. thats on th ex cam. the in cam has the same #.do these # come on stock heads? looks like some one put them there after the fact.

its prob a Web or Megacycle cam grind number.
go to rheir sites and look. I'd start with Megacycle

It is a Bob Carpenter 385 lift cam. Megacycle makes them for him.
419 = Grind number BC = Bob Carpenter and 385 = .385" of lift.
