KaBoom!
It wasnt the motor, relax guys, it was my airshifter stuff...
Went out for a test run on my "closed course" to finally get some break in miles on the bike. also to test the airshifter. everything was going well, made a few rips up and down, airshifter making lightning fast upshifts with no noticable pop at all out the exhaust, nice and smooth WFO shifts thx to the R&D trans, Schnitz kill box and the "no name" switching valve and air ram Nox hooked me up with. (actually made by Humpfrey for automated assembly lines and all the guys who sell airshifter kits just buy these and stamp their name on them im told). New motor combo pulls HARD!
ok time for the bad news was just pulling out of the driveway again and was just pushing the buttong for second gear and the bottle bracket breaks off at the weld. obviously i run over the bottle as its sitting right in front of the tire  i kept the bike up and coasted to a stop, motor shut off. lucky i wasnt going 150 plus when this happened, as that probly would have upset the bike. pushed the bike home, about 1/4 mile... i need some new stuff
never ever use a stick welder other than to spot stuff. get aluminum tig welded!!! this piece was welded by dad as hes a way better welder then i am(he has done it professionally, just not tig) and it still broke off...
lucky this didnt happen after we drove all the way to the track....

Yikes...sorry to hear that man. Do you need a spare wiring harness? Can't tell from the pic how bad yours is but I have one for an 00. Glad it didn't happen at the track.

the 00 and 01 have different plugs for the ecu (i compared mine and dads) and i can fix the wiring( but its going to take awhile ). thx for the offer though Ali
i did have a +6 tail on my "wanted list" for future upgrades.... hopefully i can still get that used one from DJ Jones....
you should have seen the bottle... 1/8 inch of frost....

1 used Beasly +6” Street tail with the tail light bracket and cowl(allong with a pc3r for dads bike) will be on its way from Texas in a few days

No problem Scott. Glad someone can use these items not that I am taking them off to build this grudge bike.
Ship what year is that wire harness and what do you need for it? I am in use of the tail light piece but will buy the whole thing if the price is right.

the bubble wrap was around my PC and Schnitz kill box
allready made a much better design (out of cardboard of course) and im picking up some more aluminum stuff today allong with a new air line, more shrink tubing and a few other odds and ends. i have most of the wiring fixed now. might as well put in my bonniville box now while im right there. since i havent gotten my ecu hacked yet...

all wiring fixed, fired the bike up and all is well. bonny box in. new rugged-as-hell bottle bracket ready to be tigged. new air line made. paypal sent for seat and PC. broke again till friday lol
