chainguard for 6" arm????

hey you drag maniacs, where do i get a chainguard for a 6" arm????

I was trying to make my current one "fit better" and screwed it up. It was fabbed by the guy who did my arm and really didn't come up to the quality of his arm work anyway so it time for a new one.

any suggestions????

It's a long shot, but you could try the "McIntosh" guy that does swing-arm stuff. Seemed like I've seen some aftermarket guards with his name in them.

thx guys,
I am looking for a guard which bolts onto a stock arm which has been extended (like the Muzzy 6"). I'll try Macintosh see if they make what I need.

CR,
I also saw an ad a while ago and can't remember what mag, when. Since I ditch old mags...

KCadby had a nice solid one made by a chassis builder here in N Florida - Toby's Chassis Components: tcc5@prodigy.net 386 418 4130. The arm is a stocker stretched 6". Toby added 2" to my JMC arm - very professional work. He won the Wally last night in Gainesville (8.47 on 8.45 dial) - so he'll sound happy on the phone I bet

MM,
yep, it ain't cheap, but today I was on a roll...

$149 = chainguard
$140 = 2 x 5gal "pails" Nutec Special5
$380 = "stuff" from RonAyers (hint: only 3 oil filters in the mix...and I was hot lapping last nite)

Oh well...
