Bikeland meet at Maxton- June 28-29
OK folks, less than a month to get the bikes prepped and dialed in. I have to get a heat exchanger mounted and plumbed, swap out my stock cylinder head/cams for my SM2W special, and get it tuned at MPS.
Who is coming, what are you bringing, what are your goals?

I should hopefully be there with the new 14. Right now it is bone stock with 650 miles on it. I'm not sure what I'll be able to do to it before then. Racheal will be bringing her K3 Gixxer which went 182.7 last year. No big goals for us other than having a good time!

Whew...I'm gonna hafta settle for fasted naked literbike, Joe Amo has the fastest faired literbike at Bonneville. He's doing it with a ZX10 - the original late 80s ZX10. 223mph on nitrous, and 240 blown gas. I have a long way to go before I can compete with his records. Bob Shammas has the fastest 1000 at Maxton, with a sleeved ZX11, 218mph.
I just realized, all the fastest 1000cc records are on Kawasakis - interesting.

I'll be there as a spectator. I havent had time to get the engine back together yet.
I'll be asking lots of questions and taking notes...

my motor is on the bench, but no problemo, my plan is to show up with gary & #2 son on thurs nite.
my goal is 200mph!!!!

I will / Plan to be there! The only question is will I ride the 250 Ninja or the ZRX? After all there is about 15 MPG DIfference

Can't wait to meet you all out there. No time to do much to the old ZX-12, so I'll probably just wash it, change the oil, charge the secondary battery, and run it as is. Maybe a 200mph if I get lucky.

My motor is on the bench as well. Just waiting on a couple of things. Then I'll get it together and in the bike then on to the dyno.
My goal is also 200mph.
My dad and I should be rolling in late Thursday night. It will be good to see everyone again.

We'll roll in thursday as well. My goal is to back up my 202 naked with something over 200. So I guess I'm with the rest of you with a goal of 200! If nobody faster runs my class then maybe a record too! If things go really well I'd like to put Todd on my bike & see if he can break 200 too (but hopefully not faster then me cause then I'll have to go back out & try harder!  ) Oh yeah & leave with a running bike!

Y is it ALWAYS A tough Crowd around here? I have an easier time with my Real Family and they already feel that they need to Punish me to off set how THEY Think I treat everyone else!

Murf reminds me of this guy that had an old variant VW that he drove to work every day and one day in that same space was a 450SL I asked him about it and he said that he would drive a VW until he could afford a Mercedes! Deb rode that HD Sprint until she rode the BUSA what a step UP!!

Jim,
I'll answer for Zack since he's AWOL.
We'll all be there but Zack will have the only bike. Chad went down on his 10 two weeks ago and will have to use his Maxton money to repair his bike but he's coming to spectate and maybe make a pass on Zack's 14.
Chad will have his bike ready for the September meet and will try to defend his Super Streetbike title for the n/a liter bike class. He went 202+ last year.
Like Shane, we're just looking to have fun and see some old friends and meet some new ones.
Zack will be getting his bike ready by himself as me and momma are headed to Alaska for the next two weeks......woo-hoo!

My dad a I will be coming down early Friday I will be racing my zx12r.
This will be the first time down at maxton of doing this type of racing.
No goals just to have a good time. cool photo by the way.
