Flywheel removal.......
Need tips on removing flywheel from a crank. Didn't want to push in a press and break it. Or hit with a mallet. Do I need the special tool? Karl, KzScott, Trn..anybody chime in..........

if your just splitting the cases you don`t have to remove the flywheel.i would use the correct tool to remove it though.

I had a shop swap the flywheel on dads cranks (bad to good). it was only $50 i think, but like mark said, if you are splitting the cases you dont need to take it off like the manual says to
