Questions about Prostar - Street ET class

Ok, so I downloaded and printed out the rule book, but it's like a gazillion pages long!

I have 2 or 3 quick and important questions about what's legal, that I need someone to answer for me. I'll be reading the rulebook over the next few days but I figured someone here knows the answer.

1. Are you allowed to use the 'strap' or not? Thought I read something early in the year saying you weren't.

2. Someone told me that the 600SS guys put weight INTO the bike to keep wheelies down? How do they do that?!?! And is it allowed in the Street/ET class?

3. do they take that 2" clearance thing pretty seriously? Like, what happens if I'm 1 7/8" at check time?!?!

If my only goal is to get the license really, how many passes do they have to watch me make? (they're making me enter the Street/ET class though...seemed odd to me)

Believe that I'll be asking them these questions early next week when I pay my fee's over the phone, but any help you guys have would be great.

MadMike, the Anger Management Tour President slips his calling card under the door.

His curiousity piqued, BA calls this "madmike" character fully prepared to be utterly enlightened........for, as MM says.... "...i HAVE ANSWERS TO ALL"

ok ok, found some time, LOL...
1. Yes in Street ET, NO in 600SS
2. yes they bolt weight onto the front end to keep the wheelies down. I would contact Ryan Schnitz and ask him about it, he will be able to tell you how they do it on the 600,
3.in the Pro classes YES VERY SERIOUS, Ryan was DQ when an exhaust spring hit the bar.. talk about hard core, but I have never had my bike measured for Street ET. I have heard that in INDY they are going to be taking Tech. to the next level?? though so I dont know what they mean by that, I dont think that my bike will make the 2" clearance. ? so Im going to make a set of links to put me right above the 2" mark, and rember that is sitting on the bike not just the bike.
well if you have any more questions let me know.

so, I was wondering, if you get 'gigged' on something, will they let you go fix it and come back for a re-tech???
