It sucks that were are the guinea pigs most of the time, but that's the way it is!!!
Worse yet when they do a bad job, they (and their freinds) get to do it all over again and charge even more because it is MORE complicated now!
Lets say I work on your bike and break some bolts off because either I over tightened them or broke them in trying to get them out! I put everything back together again without fixing the problems I just caused! Then of course you have some problems because if this and you take me to court! I now spend the money I have made to get other people doing the same thing I did to say that this is normal and not a problem. For some reason the Judge does not allow your experts testimony to be recorded but the Jury hears all of this! During the trial when in spite of this it looks like the Jury is going to believe you and award you some compensation, the Judge you find out is married to one of them also and she stopps the trial and you have to appeal! Problem is, there is no record of your experts testimony because none of it is allowed!
This is EXACTLY What happened to me when my leg got infected and the doctor who was supposed to remove all of the hardware did not use any xrays to know where it all was anbd did not use any x reays to see that he got it all and caused me to have 6 more operations over 2 years to fix his damage!
Also understand that when I sued them it was BB Before Bush and it was (Supposed) to be easier to sue a doctor for Mal pratice! It only cost me $140,000 to lose the case over 5 years! in court! (Did I mention that I had to PAY the expense of the other side also?

Glad to see you moving so well, but don't blow that hip back out too quick. There are just so many of them they can do.
I was think that you could lower your pegs a touch and raise your seat a little to help with your hip angulation, if you still have some restrictions in your range of motion.
That motor sure is perty!!!!!

Thanx, just a fyi,I put a scale under the motor on the bench and it came up 150.4lbs.I never heard anyone say what it weighed so I had to see.Surgeon says no weight restrictions and he kept asking about the bike so I had the shot taken for him.

I was waiting for a comment about needing a shop Barbie to clean up the garage.
The sugeon said they actually had to use a torque wrench on my hip to mushroom the two pieces in my femur.Got torqued? Off the oxycotins and driving after 3 weeks, they want you up and going as soon as possible these days. The only restriction right now is a 90* hip/leg angle and in another week will be able to go to 120*

Doc said he torqued it to 140ft/lbs. He used a tee handled wrench because I asked how they held me down at that amount of twist

I was answering to no one but the Fact of what the tool look like! They used a "ROPE" Saw to cut my Tib & Fib and when things went wrong they tied it in a Knot and left it in my lef to use later! Nothing like seeing a rope saw sticking out of each side of your leg and tied in a knot so that they do not lose it!
AA Remember for about 6 months you do not have bone growth to hold things in place and as far as lifting I would be EXTREMELY Careful! I would tell him that your Pic was a PREVIOUS one! If they ever ask and get rid of it in your Camera and take a picture over it! You will always have a Life long risk of infection and once it hits the metal you have a problem because metal has no blood supply to remove and fitght the Germs!
