If ya can wait a couple more hours, I believe I can tag along with ya'll.
I just put in for my "bank" day of vacation for Friday.
After looking at that list TFA seems to be abit lopsided. I'm gonna stick out like a sore thumb with all of that green around me.
If I could get that green umbrella girl with the big K on her tummy, ya'll would just have to tell me about the races when you get back to the motel. I'm afraid I would have to miss it.

hey Chris,
i'd really like to get to the track at 3-ish to assure that we get in early and can lock up some space near the start line. If you can get to to my house at 10:30-11 it would be great.
My motor is back together and sounding "eager". I'm taking it to the dyno on sat to test another cam setting but THINK all will be fine for the Mile

Hey fellas, bro and I will be coming late friday. They may be changing the sign in and tech location. Sign in might be in a tent to the left now instead of in the trailer on the right as before. Just recieved new kill box in mail today. Will have to slip it on this weekend along with insulating and hooking up the EFIR and maybe a little saftey wire just for grins, as the last time I looked on the Texas Mile site they had note updated any rules. I hope they don't!

Update: it looks like I might be piloting a VTwin looking for the fastest Bagger record 
or maybe an older ZX11 just for giggles

We will be there Friday, probably stay in Beeville again.
It's Pops bike, he got so worked up since last time,
he has been working on it like a madman.
It should have the torque, but aeros will be challenging!
Are we setting up camp on Friday? Close to the lanes this time?

What kind of twin? There was a turbo one out last time that Blew. Gearing may be hard to change on some of those bikes, but it would be cool to see one running 150+mph.
They going to do another article on ya Halvefast?
Anyone trying any new fuels?

HD Twin Cam /110", we have worked out the gearing OK, I think ???
We need a trip to the dyno, and a night at the dragstrip, so I believe we will get it done!

Take it to JC's he has seen quite a few twins and mappings on each cylinder. Then drop over just south of San Antonio to run at the drags, a few side bets and you'll have all your expenses paid to the MIle.
Is Andy bringing his R1?

yes indeed lets be there when the gates open on Fri so we can set up as close to the starting area as possible. Matt, Buddy and i are planning on getting at the track at 3-ish Fri and it would be great if you & yr Dad would be there early also!!

Is he going to bring the Ferrari out to show? Andy should look into the Big Bend Open Road Race, he would get a kick out of running flat out for 120mi. Between Fort Stockton and Sanderson.
