Scott, you dont need the weight on the front end on a bar bike........
Rip one rotor and caliper off.......
And drill 1/2" holes in the rear one

yeah, ill probly do that Nox. thinking about doing a test tho, get it consistant with the stuff on, then take the weight off and see how much it helps
Paul, it still has the stock plastic fan, so i thought it would be pretty much a need to do mod or get the muzzy alum fan

well the old man went for the first drive on his 12. he loved it  first time he was on something that pulled so hard. it just sits back on the bars and hauls ass in a straight line.
he tried a few launches but it just spun the tire when the lock up locked in a few feet out. i was expecting that on the cool road. should hook like mad with a new slick at the track. we are just abusing this old used one till friday:P up and down the road, practise a rolling burnout in the shop, ect

pm returned, i was busy tonight, so ill call you after work tomm. 
we didnt have an on off valve for either of the bikes air tanks, the paintball store has them ordered, but hard to say when they will be in. lucky for me i have an inline pressure guage that will open the valve on the bottle. the regulators dont have the pin to open the tanks. tonight i had to modify dads regulator so it would open the valve. i drilled a hole at a 45 and put a tiny bolt in it so it would be in the right spot to push open the valve. that took a long time as we tried a few different things, and it was all done by hand with no fancy tools(i need a machine shop!)
so both bikes can airshift now, but to take the pressure off of the switching valve, we have to unscrew the air tank... good enough for this wknd anyway, we will put the on off valves on when we get them
another thing i have to test is if the old style nlr 2 step will work with the new ikm....(i got ripped off buying a 2 step) if it wont work together at least it still has a great kill box.

haha i made a cardboard bottle bracket on my bike then cut it out of sheet aluminum and bent it to the right shape

thx doc, Seb wasnt sure if it would work, but i have the instructions for everything, i think if i set it up so the old style 2 step cpu acts like the tic 1000 it will activate the ikm 001.... gotta go do wiring and testing. shouldnt have went to work today lol

we were up till 4 am trying stuff. couldnt get the 2 step to work with the ikm, ill have to talk to Seb to see if he can suggest some other way of wiring it. the ikm 001 works just fine alone though. besides that, the only hold up on dads bike is the teather kill switch. its the wrong type. i must have got the type for magneto instead of battery. its wired the same as mine, but the bike runs with the teather pulled out, and shuts off when its plugged in. the only way i could get it to work was to wire it to ground and then it will shut the bike off when the teather is pulled...but it blows a fuse every time. so we need to order a new switch.
calling for rain anyway, so we are staying home

adjusted dads clutch pack tonight, it was an all stock setup, and in the correct range for a stock clutch, however the clearance between the pressure plate and lock up arms was too big according to mtc specs. swapped out two 1.6mm steels for 2.0mm steels and its now about .115 inches. mtc recs .100 to .125
thinking about trying the pilot jet mod too as i want it to idle about 500 rpm lower (down to 1500 to 1700) it surges really bad below 2000

Scott, it`s searching for fuel...You can either richen it up a few bars or just leave it alone....Actually sounds pretty cool at idle,sounds like IT has a, (3/4 race cam,LOL)...

right now its waiting for a PC to get here.. and will shut off if i try to get the idle speed down. ill try playing with the TPS again, but i think its mainly from the muzzy with no baffle.
