BTW, single stage, two stage, same thing, we call em different things........

I did that with no pc, no pipe..............., with a good track, I could get you 1.29 I think, at least 1.30 or 1.31, with an average size rider, no prob, with a pipe and PC. Whose two step are you using?

we wont be getting a multi. the "single stage" MTC has can be setup as a 2 stage or 3 stage. theres 6 arms. the instructions actually call it a dual stage i think. i got one to use on the blue bike, and we will be looking for one for the silver/black bike

Never really read all the details in this thread........, I will explain why you are way off on how this can be set up when we talk in the future..........

Make him eat only tuna , celery, carrots, a litle PB, and water for a couple of weeks. I can drop 5 lbs a week doing this. Back down to 160 now. Its hard for me to get past that. When it gets hot, I hope to make 155, and 170 suited again.

we are putting a 7" MT on it. any idea how much it will grow at speed? i need to know how long to make the strut (to determine clearance above wheel)
i really think it will be fine with these extensions. they are solid billet. plus the bars arent connected to the axle like the pingle brackets that came with it. (different than Roys, I saw his setup, so I know what you are talking about) I would think the weak link would be the end of the stock arm, but thats being braced with the new mounts im making.
I thought that if you put different weights on the arms it acted like different stages. for example, what i was calling a 3 stage: 2 opposite arms have bolt, two washers and a nut, 2 opposite arms have just a bolt and nut, and the remaining 2 arms are empty
oh, theres an old gs1100 that has a 1428 kit and the works. slick n bar, slider, 2step ect. cuts 1.23 60fts (I know cause its on one of my time slips) damn it would be nice to leave like that! even close to that hard is haulin ass... i think hes running a 10 inch slick though...his mph wasnt as good as mine, so it might be overkill and slowing him down on top end??or maybe hes just not making the power a stock 12r does
i really doubt he would go for that diet lol. it was hard enough to get him off of sweets. so im going to try and get him doing some (much needed) cardio. i might try that diet out for a couple weeks before the big shootout in sept. a few yrs ago i weighed in at 205. im at 165 now. being 6' doesnt help being light lol

oh, just about done the tail. a bit more work at the bottom and it goes on the bar bike

Thats a lot of mph in the 1/8. He wont beat that weighing over 180, and stock motor.

330 to 1/8 mile, he is running harder than me...., 60 to 330, it is running HARD. that bike has a ton of low end. DIes out up top though......

We will work on it and give it our best........

What gearing are you using? I have a 54 and 56 toofer for sale......, you will need one of em.....

I have a strut already made I think........

Really to work well, your bars should be longer..........., it will be kinda twitchy as those are........

Your bar length, should be about the wb of the bike......, from center of bar axle to center of rear axle........, ie, 64 inch bike, should have at least a 60 inch bar length....., which would mean bars that were longer than that to mount up properly........

Just trying to help out, not trying to get too much in your Koolaid

allready have the tubing, just need to cut it to length and weld a couple tabs on either end. I know the bars should be longer, i was told the smoothest launching bikes had bars a bit longer than wb. but this will do for a starting out season. ill measure the setup we have going now to see where its at exactly
I appreciate the input

NOX is correct, but most organizations only allow wheelie bar length not to exceed the wheel base of the motorcycle(axle to axle then rear axle to bar axle)...But YES longer bars are alot smoother..I like to go 1" longer than wheel base though...(wink)...LOL..JMO..
