cam timing / adjustable sprocket questions

hey guys, looking for info (as allways )
question 1
im going to have my head milled .005'' to clean it up, so how bad does this affect cam timing? i was pretty sure i read that you must degree your cams if the base shim (.007 to .008 IIRC ) is removed to bump compression about half a point (to prevent the intake valves from hitting the pistons IIRC) now the head milling isnt as much as the base shim removal, but is it close enough to give me issues?
2
im aware that the cam sprockets are pressed on. can any regular machine shop do the swap to adjustables or is this really really high end? or is it easy, hell can i do it? is there any special prep involved? is it possible to throw the cams in the freezer (or actually just outside lol -20F here the other morning ) then heat the sprocket to get it to pop off?
thx!

I'd mark the cam with the orig sprockets still on so you will know if they put the new one on right. Like anything they can get screwed and without marks you may end up chasing your tail.

I have access to some pretty rugged presses, but i really dont want to screw it up as these may not be the most accurate. im talking about a press used to straighten bent bars on single grip harvesters(cuts down big effin trees ), and a big hydraulic hose maker(crimps on ends)
i will have the cam sprockets marked if i go with adjustable sprockets, but that doesnt really answer the question.

Two Wheel Werkz, did you ever find out if the 2 step/shift light combo you have advertised on your site for the zx12r actually WORKS on the zx12r? (you didnt know when I emailed you awhile back....)
