Wego II or LM-1 w/RPM kit?
They both do pretty much the same thing right? are there pro and cons to both? I want to be able to log air fuel ratio, throttle position and rpm to do "real world" tuning

I had an LM-1 and really liked it.
I wrongly accused it of going South, gave the entire set up to Y2K, and upgraded to DL-32, etc.

DL-32 over the LM-1.. do a search here.. been discused.. DS-32 much lightr.. much better for a motorcycle.. carry on board so much easier...will need o2 sensor also and thing to collect data...forget the name..
DL-32 processes the data to software for the fine tuning you want.. yes fuel air ratio..you bet...and lots of storage to compare different runs which you log and study carefully at your own sweet time.. with different fuels and mods...
technical support is good I thought... and there are forums as well on the "Inovative" products...

LC-1 and the DL-32.. Dynamite package.. easily installed on-board for small spaces like on a ZX-12R
I have this on my ZX-10R...nice toy to have...especially if you mod a lot.. ....if not I would let a dyno tuner do it and be done...
LM-1 is better suited for a car application...
WEGO II might be ok.. don't know...

The reason I was considering the LM-1 w rpm kit was from reading all of the posts Karl and Doug (Ray) made about it. supposed to be really easy 
the reason I was considering the Wego 2 was because I saw it on Schnitz's site, and it looked to have the same abilities:P
the LC-1 plus DL-32 is really getting up there for price ($598) and looks to be over kill for me, but im not sure.

Thats right scott.. not cheap.. thats why the DL-32 and LC-1 is for a guy that is going to dyno and fine tune more than once or twice...but it does more then the LM-1 and RPM kit.... ..fits nicley on the bike for loging field runs-real time data aquisition and on screen analysis...I got a price break...not huge but at least $100.00 off...

i really liked the LM-1, but salsa is right, the DL-32 + LC-1, + XD-16 (gotta have the xd-16) is the tits!
i don't know what the "on screen analysis" is but the combo is great.
well worth the extra bux...

I use the wego 2 and it works great, I have one mounted on my 14 and another one i have made up with a homemade sniffer and quick conn, to test ride bikes an set a/f real world , Cant beat it, I like it and when i back up my maps with the dyno a/f is wright on the money. If you looking for one too use personnel use go with the new wego 3 its usb freindly the wego2 you have to get the d-port adapter and program your port signal from laptop if it doesnt have nine pin d-port. The 3 is already to plug into laptop. bill...

Ryan Schnitz seems to think the wego 2 will work just fine for me, so Ill probly go with that. he says that a dyno can only get you 95% of the way to a perfect map, track testing is the only way to get it 100%.
My laptop is old and has both usb and the 9 pin serial port. (i just got a really old cheap one to run the PC3R $75 )

I liked my WEGOII, paid $340 from MPS, but I wanted more channels and just bought a DL32/LC-1. Haven't used it yet, but I plan to log A/F, RPM, IAT, fuel pressure, MAP, and Gs. An online retailer (Twenty squared tuning)is having a wicked sale on Innovate stuff, got the DL32 for $410 shipped, LC-1 for $160 shipped.

How many things can you log with the wego2 as is Dean? I dont really need to log other stuff to make a map(on a na or nitrous motor right?), but it might be interesting to log oil pressure.....

The WEGO will log A/F, RPM, and one 0-5V analog channel. So if you got yourself an oil pressure transducer (~$100) you could log oil pressure, or TPS, MAP, anything. It's a good deal for $340.

pick up an XD-16 to round out your set up. MUCH, MUCH better with it.

I'm still thinking about that Karl, I don't have much ability to see gauges at speed. I can barely see my shiftlight, and it's 3" from my face.

dean, it is not about seeing it, its about remote recording off/on
but also the the XD-16 has leds around the face which you set to show color according to AF.
mine is set with a range from 11-14 with
blue from 11-12.2
green from 12.4-12.8
red from 13-14
even without looking at it you can see if it is way rich or way lean. pretty cool

so the wego2 can ONLY log 3 things?
that is cool, if it goes red, shut it down! (great for nitrous testing) so can the XD-16 guage be "added" to the wego2 or LM-1 w/RPM ? or does it need its own LC-1 to go with it?

I was just on the Twenty squared tuning site (http://www.20squared.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=124) and can't find the dl 32 listed, all the other sites are $499 did I miss it somwhere.The LC1 was $150 If so please post

I emailed 20 squared them and got the $410 price.
The WEGO only logs 3 things, it's primarily a A/F meter. BTW, I was just on Muzzys's site, and for some reason they list the WEGOII at $259 - must be a mistake. But I'd call;
