MTC lock up parts list prices?
hey guys, I got this with my used 2 stage, and im thinking that it should be replaced? just wondering how much it is, and if i should get a couple, or if this one would be ok as a spare? (cant find a price on the mtc site for this, i believe its part # CLU-CC516)

As above, that one looks pretty good. They're kind of expensive. I bought one about 3 years ago and I think I paid about $65.00 for it.

Keep it as a spare and get a new one..At that price I would get 2...I had a machine shop make me one and it was $150.00,Hardened,ect. ect....Let us know if you find out anything...

oh right on!  i was comparing it to the stock piece and thought it looked worn.
maybe ill order 1 just in case....better to have a spare and not need it that the opposite!

edit, didnt see Pauls post... would it be a good idea to have a new one hardened at a machine shop somehow, or is it possible on a new part from mtc?

MTC should already have hardened it when made...

MTC should already have hardened it when made...

oh, i was talking to a friend of mine, (750 turbo) and the price for the part is listed as about $47. looks like the price dropped

Stuart, wish I would have known you had paid that much. We could have built one for half that......
BTW guys, stuart is running a muzzy, the arms are a hair different, so he could not just grab an mtc. The spacing is different, and the muzzy rods are complete crap.

Go ahead and get one going,I'll take it NOX......Mine started looking like KZSCOTTs and deffinetly wasn't pulling in the clutch at high speeds,but I think it was from improper stack height....
